LetzGo City Tours · post-flow sequence

Dublin · Version A and Version B · 6 emails

Both versions written, with every point from Steph's feedback applied, then revised again with Ciaran's 31 August feedback. Version B is live in Mailchimp as of 20 September 2026; Version A is still a draft.

Where this stands: every point from the brief of 2 September is applied here. No individual guide is named in any of the six. The photos and the genuine guest reviews stay, and the reviews shown are real five-star reviews that praise the tour and the guiding without naming anyone. Reserved Access, Expert Guides, Extraordinary Stories now sits under the logo in all six.

The per-tour five-star counts are gone. All six now carry one brand-level figure, 10,728 five-star reviews since 2015, which is the audited total across Google, GetYourGuide and Viator. Version B is now live in Mailchimp: the journey was activated on 20 September 2026 and 1,419 contacts entered it. Version A is still a draft, waiting on the FareHarbor report that says which tour each of the 242 buyers booked.

Version A · buyers, 242 contacts

Triggered by the tag purchased-dublin, which holds 242 contacts today. Note that this tag marks a Dublin booking, not a travel date: TRAV_DATE and TRAVSTATUS are still empty on every contact, so the split by travel window is not executable yet.

Version B · live · 1,419 contacts

Triggered by the tag dublin-post-flow, which now holds 1,419 contacts. The whole dublin tag was ruled out: its 2,868 contacts overlap with the four live Recommend journeys and would receive two flows at once. The 1,419 were selected from the tag by email engagement and exclude everyone tagged purchased-dublin, which was verified contact by contact: zero overlap. Mailchimp does not expose which contacts are currently mid-flight in another journey, so that could not be excluded. A sample of 120 of the 1,419 puts it at roughly 7 percent, near 100 people, who are also inside an older sequence. Zero urgency here, and Paris and London become the subject rather than a footer, as agreed.

Day 0

What was asked for, and where it landed

RequestedHow it was done
One CTA only, always a specific tourIn all six. Logo, photo, guide name and button all point to the same tour. None of them lands on a listing page.
Duration and price above the CTAIts own line directly above the button, with the tour name.
A photo of a guide with a group, not a building façadeReal photos supplied by Steph, one per email. The photos stay as they are. Only the alt text changed, so no guide is named there either.
No individual guide namedApplied to all six. Body copy, the quoted review, the attribution line and the image alt text were all changed. The photos and the reviews stay, as asked.
An "are you still travelling?" linkIn the footer of all six, pointing to the Mailchimp preference page, which is where the field is actually corrected.
REFER10 couponKept, unchanged.
Visible social proof on the reviewThe words "5 stars" are gone. In their place: ★★★★★ in yellow plus the icon of the platform the review came from: Viator, Tripadvisor or GetYourGuide.

The rule that separates A from B

Mailchimp builds both segments on its own, with no new field.

Version Atravelling within 30 days AND joined the list in the last 30 days, OR travelling in 1 to 3 months AND joined in the last 90, OR travelling in 4 months or more AND joined in the last 180
Version Beveryone else on the list, plus the 6 people with no data

Both versions are configured to exclude anyone who already bought (purchased-dublin), as a safety net.
